Committee chair joins lawmaker at event
State Rep. Klint Kesto today announced Rep. Gail Haines, chair of the House Health Policy Committee, will visit Commerce Township on Monday, Aug. 26 for a public town hall meeting to discuss health care in Michigan.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Ralph Richardson Community Senior Center, 1485 Oakley Park Road in Commerce Township.
“Keeping Michigan residents healthy, from birth through retirement, is vital to making Michigan a place where people want to live, work, raise a family and enjoy the amazing natural resources we have,” said Kesto, R-Commerce Township. “Having Committee Chair Haines visit our area and listen to the concerns and ideas of residents from the 39th House District is a great idea, as it brings another set of eyes and ears to our communities as we discuss what is important regarding health care.”
Rep. Haines, along with other committee chairs, is travelling around the state holding similar meetings in order to hear from residents outside of their home area.
No reservations are required to attend the town hall. Those unable to attend may contact Kesto at 517-373-1799 or via email at vog.i1516516643m.esu1516516643oh@ot1516516643seKtn1516516643ilK1516516643.
